Pedaling Toward the Big Day: A Scenic Ride, A Critical Mission

This December, Rob and Jimmie will be embarking on an extraordinary challenge – running 100 miles to raise funds and awareness for autism. In preparation for this monumental journey, they took a major step on Friday, September 21st, by exploring the full course on electric bikes, thanks to the support of @cyclisbikelease. Joining them on this crucial recon ride were Janni and Raf, all of them eager to strategize and prepare for the big day.

The ride wasn’t just about enjoying the fresh air – it was all about planning. As they rode the course, the team spent time discussing race strategies, picking ideal spots for aid stations, and identifying key factors that might affect the run. From unexpected weather conditions to wind patterns, there were many elements to consider. Despite these challenges, one thing was clear: the beauty of the course left a lasting impression, and the team enjoyed every minute of the day out together.

This experience was not only valuable for logistical planning but also served as a reminder of the powerful impact that preparation can have. As December approaches, Rob and Jimmie are more determined than ever to make their 100-mile run a success – and they need your help to make a difference for autism.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, especially @cyclisbikelease for their generosity in providing the bikes.
